MADE FOR MORE RETREATS 

Liability Waiver and Release 

 

I have agreed to consent to Made For More Retreats to participate in their upcoming retreat or event and all services and activities offered by Made for More Retreats.

ACTIVITIES RELEASE

I acknowledge and agree that Made for More Retreat events and retreats may include any of the following:

• Recreational sport activity, such as hiking (in normal, hot, dry, snowy, icy, muddy, and all other conditions), swimming (in the ocean, rivers, by coral reefs, open water sources, or any other body of water), biking, and exploring different islands, oceans, jungles, mountains, or any other landscape that is present

• Workouts that may involve physical activity including, but not limited to: strength training, endurance training, low impact exercises, pilates, running, HIIT, cardiovascular conditioning and training, and other various fitness activities

• Yoga, Breathwork and meditation

• Cold plunge or sauna experiences

• Various types of food that I may eat (with several allergens, including, but not limited to gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, etc…)

• Water activities such as surfing, snorkeling, and swimming

• Guest speakers, journaling, coaching, & other miscellaneous activities

 

I hereby affirm, and I affirm each time I participate in ANY activities listed above or not explicitly stated, that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known disability or condition which would prevent or limit participation in activities. I affirm that I am participating in the activities voluntarily and at my own risk and I may injure or hurt myself. 

 

I hereby release MADE FOR MORE RETREATS LLC, and their related body corporates, affiliates, successors, assignees, franchisees, licenses & their officers, agents, and employees (the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from any CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION as a result of my voluntary participation in the above listed activities and any others that may be present at an event or retreat that I choose to attend and participate in, to the maximum extent permitted by law. 

 

I further acknowledge that I may injure myself as a result of my participation in the activities above or any others included in a Made for More Retreat event or retreat, and I hereby release the released parties from ANY LIABILITY now or in the future for conditions that they may obtain directly or indirectly from participating in the retreats and events to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

 

These conditions may include but are not limited to HEART ATTACKS, MUSCLE STRAINS, MUSCLE PULLS, MUSCLE TEARS, BROKEN BONES, CUTS, MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS, GASHES, INTERNAL BLEEDING, ALLERGIC REACTIONS, BUG BITES, SHIN SPLINTS, HEAT PROSTRATION, INJURIES TO KNEES, INJURIES TO BACK, INJURIES TO FOOT, OR ANY OTHER ILLNESS, INJURY, OR SORENESS THAT I MAY INCUR, INCLUDING DEATH. 

 

TRANSPORTATION RELEASE

1. Acknowledgment of Risk: The Participant acknowledges that transportation to, from, and during the Zion Wellness Retreat, including any trips provided by the Retreat Leaders, involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, vehicle accidents, weather conditions, road hazards, and actions of other drivers. The Participant further acknowledges that they are voluntarily participating in the retreat and related transportation with knowledge of the potential risks involved.

 

2. Assumption of Risk: The Participant voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, personal injury, or death that may arise from transportation provided by the Retreat Leaders, regardless of whether such risks are caused by the negligence of the Retreat Leaders or otherwise.

 

3. Waiver of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Zion Wellness Retreat, including transportation provided by the Retreat Leaders, the Participant, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby fully and forever releases and discharges Made for More Retreats LLC and the Retreat Leaders from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Participant while being transported during the retreat.

 

4. Indemnification: The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Made for More Retreats LLC and the Retreat Leaders from any claims, demands, lawsuits, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage sustained by the Participant during transportation provided by the Retreat Leaders.

 

5. No Legal Action: The Participant agrees that they will not institute any lawsuit or cause of action against Made for More Retreats LLC or the Retreat Leaders, nor will they assist in the prosecution of any claim for damages or cause of action which the Participant may have by reason of injury, loss, or damage to their person or property as a result of being transported during the retreat.

 

6. Medical Condition: The Participant confirms that they are physically able to travel and participate in all retreat activities, including transportation, and have no medical conditions that would impair their ability to safely travel with the Retreat Leaders. The Participant is responsible for carrying any necessary medications or medical equipment during the trip.

 

MEDIA RELEASE

I release rights to all content gathered from this retreat and allow any filming, photography, videography, social media posts, or content in ANY FORM from this retreat of me to be repurposed in ANY form for the benefit of MADE FOR MORE RETREATS LLC, and their related body corporates, affiliates, successors, assignees, franchisees, licenses & their officers, agents, and employees (the “RELEASED PARTIES”). I allow repurposing of content for profit or not for profit. I release any CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION as a result of my voluntary participation in this retreat and any content, marketing, programs, sales, or any other outcome that is to come from it, to the maximum extent permitted by law. 

 

REFUNDS 

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless otherwise stated on individual refund policies listed on retreat pages before purchase. All retreat deposits are non-refundable.

GOVERNING LAW

This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Zion Wellness Retreat and supersedes any prior agreements, written or oral.

 

SIGNATURE

By signing below, and checking "I have read the terms and conditions of this form and agree to adhere by them," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Liability Waiver and Release.
